Social Events
COMA swimmers enjoy many social gatherings thoughout the year. COMA is a great way to meet some new friends or renew old friendships!
During open water season, we reserve group campground spots (when available) and members gather during the evenings to share a meal and to swap stories of past endeavours!
We also support other swimming oriented groups in our local communities including:
Special Olympians in their quest for gold in the pool! We help with both competitions and fundraising.
Our younger counterparts in the Bend Swim Club with sponsorship of their meets (and they help us with staffing our meets, too).
Funds go to the maintenance and upkeep of the scoreboard at the Juniper Swim & Fitness Center.
Funds also support various scholarship programs for swimmers of all ages in our communities.
We have an annual holiday party in December that includes a silent auction to raise money for the team and the social causes we support. Members bring a homemade dish and the club provides the main entrees. It's a great time to review the year with friends and start getting motivated for the upcoming year!
